The Story so Far

Vidar the Viking and Hans the Troll are doing their best to stay under the radar, living a quiet, simple life in small town USA (Stoughton, Wisconsin). Well, Vidar’s way better at the whole “quiet and simple” thing than Hans. But both dream of more, using their powers to serve and protect the people around them–as superheroes!

They finally get their chance when Bunzilla, a 50-foot, building-munching bunny menace, comes to town. With Vidar’s super strength and Hans’ porridge-producing, root-crop-creating awesomeness, they manage to defeat the creature before it eats all of Stoughton for lunch!

In the aftermath of the bunny attack, the word is out: Stoughton’s the place to be if you wanna make it big in the superhero game! So all kinds of has-been, old-school, and aspiring heroes descend on the town, eager to see what kind of epic adventures await them next. With so many great expectations and excessive egos, what could go wrong???

Vidar & Hans weaves together several key threads: classic comic book superheroes, small-town tropes, fantasy themes, and Norse mythology. The creators have many more issues planned that will delve deeper into the unlikely pair’s past, uncovering memorable villains
and classic comedic moments.
